CyberBlue Academy ("we") provides SOC and blue-team training at cyberblue.academy. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email, password (stored by Amazon Cognito).
- Learning records: lesson and lab completion, quiz attempts, and optional investigation notes.
- Lab access logs needed to operate shared environments (user id, lab, timestamp).
- Standard web logs (IP, user agent) for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use this data to run the academy: authenticate you, track progress, provision labs, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell personal data. We do not use student lab activity for advertising.
Processors
Hosting and auth run on Amazon Web Services (Cognito, ECS, RDS, CloudFront). Payment processing, when enabled, will be handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
Retention and your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data via Support. We keep records as long as the account is active and for a limited period afterward as required for security and legal obligations.
